Speaking

Keynotes, workshops, and panels on AI visibility for hotels, restaurants, and destinations

Travelers now plan entire trips inside conversations with AI, and the properties and destinations that appear in those conversations are the ones that win them. Amber S. Hoffman speaks to hospitality operators, tourism boards, and destination marketing organizations about what has changed, what it costs, and what to do about it.

Currently taking enquiries for events across Asia and Europe. All sessions delivered in English.

The Argument, Ten Years On

A decade ago Amber stood in front of hospitality and travel audiences and made an unpopular case: that most influencer spend could not be measured, that social posts disappeared within hours, and that the real return lived in structured content built to be found by people actually looking for it.

That argument is now the foundation of how AI decides what to recommend. Large language models cannot see a disappearing story. They read description, and they reward specificity. What was a marketing preference has become a commercial requirement.

Speaking Topics

Before the Booking: Closing the Hotel AI Discovery Gap

A hotel can be genuinely excellent and still be invisible. The gap is not a judgment on quality, it is a measure of legibility. This session covers how AI platforms actually read a property, the three failure points that create the gap, and why the language most hotels use tells a model nothing it can recommend on.

Best for hotel groups, ownership and asset management audiences, and industry conferences.

Before the Itinerary: Closing the Destination AI Gap

AI defaults to the famous destination and overlooks the extraordinary one next door. The travelers most worth attracting, the higher-spending and longer-staying ones, increasingly plan through premium AI subscriptions that carry no advertising at all. This session covers how destinations become legible to AI, and why the influencer strategy that built awareness in the search era generates almost no AI signal.

Best for tourism boards, DMOs, and destination marketing conferences.

Beyond RevPAR: Total Revenue in an AI-Driven Market

Guests ask AI about spa treatments, private dining, and event space, often without booking a room at all. Most properties optimise for rooms and lose the rest. This session maps the full revenue opportunity across rooms, dining, spa, and events, and what it takes for each to earn its own visibility.

Best for commercial leadership, revenue teams, and owner or asset manager audiences.

The Questions Nobody Has Been Asked to Answer

Practical and workshop-oriented. The specific questions a GM should ask their DOSM, a DOSM should ask their agency, and an F&B or spa director should ask about their own listings. Attendees leave with a set of questions they can use the following week.

Best for association meetings, executive roundtables, and working sessions.
